Palmetrics can automatically sync stock levels across all your connected integrations to prevent overselling. Learn more or contact us at support@palmetrics.co.za to enable this.

Before you connect

Please make sure the SKUs on Palmetrics exactly match the SKUs on WooCommerce, otherwise Palmetrics will consider them different products.

What happens after you connect

So far, these features are available:

  • Sync stock levels with other connected integrations as sales happen to avoid overselling (Please contact us to enable this)
  • Sync product costs from WooCommerce into Palmetrics for accurate profit estimations and markup-based pricing (Please contact us to enable this)
  • Markup-based pricing to automatically calculate prices based on your product cost and desired margin
  • Products and orders from WooCommerce are pulled into and visible on Palmetrics
  • Updating WooCommerce prices on Palmetrics will push to WooCommerce
  • View sales analytics for all your channels

Connect from Palmetrics

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Make sure "Early access" is enabled
  3. Click "Add integration"
  4. Select "WooCommerce" as the channel
  5. Enter the store details:
    1. URL: the root domain of your store e.g. example.com
    2. Access Key: enter the Consumer Key (starts with ck_)
    3. Access Secret: enter the Consumer Secret (starts with cs_)

WooCommerce FAQ

Can I connect multiple WooCommerce stores to one Palmetrics company?

Yes. When you connect more than one WooCommerce store to one Palmetrics company, Palmetrics will pull all products and orders from each of the stores. The important caveat is that if a product exists on more than one of the stores, it will not be duplicated. Palmetrics will consider this as a single product with the same data on all the stores. Therefore, if you change the price (or any other attribute) for the product on Palmetrics, Palmetrics will push this price change to all the WooCommerce stores.

Can I disconnect the store?

Yes. Select the store on the settings page and click "Disconnect". This will completely remove the store. All sales from the store will be deleted. Products that only exist on this specific store will be deleted. Products that also exist on other stores (regardless of platform) will not be deleted, and only the data specific to this store will be wiped from the product.

Can I disconnect Store A and then connect Store B?

Yes, absolutely. When you disconnect the store, all the associated data will be deleted. To connect a new store, simply follow the same setup as before.
