Stock Sync
Palmetrics can sync stock levels across all your connected integrations in real time as sales happen, preventing overselling across your channels.
How it works
When a sale is made on one platform, Palmetrics automatically updates the available stock on all other connected platforms so your inventory stays accurate everywhere.
For example, if you sell on both Takealot and Shopify and a customer buys a product on Shopify, Palmetrics will reduce the available stock on Takealot accordingly. This happens automatically — you don't need to manually adjust stock on each platform.
Why use it?
- Prevent overselling — Without stock sync, selling the same product across multiple channels risks accepting orders you can't fulfil. Stock sync keeps all your platforms in agreement.
- Save time — No need to manually update stock levels on each platform after every sale, return, or stock adjustment.
- Centralised view — Monitor your stock levels across all channels from the Palmetrics dashboard.
Supported platforms
Stock sync works across all integrations connected to your Palmetrics account, including Takealot, Shopify, Amazon, and WooCommerce.
Don't worry, it doesn't start syncing anything until you ask us to enable it.
How to enable
To set this up, please contact us using the in-app chat or email at support@palmetrics.co.za to enable this for you.
Pricing
The stock sync feature is currently free to use but will become a paid feature in the future. We’ll communicate the pricing to you when it is available and give you notice in advance.
