What happens if my API key changes?

Changing your API key on the Takealot Seller Portal is easy and allows you to immediately revoke all 3rd party (e.g. Palmetrics) access to your Takealot Seller API.

If you change your API key then Palmetrics won't be able to receive your latest sales from Takealot's API anymore, nor will it be able to perform actions on your behalf such as updating your products' prices.

This means most things in the app such as sales statistics will stop updating and auto-pricing will stop working.

If you have changed your API key and want to re-connect your Palmetrics account to your Takealot account, please follow the prompts on the app to enter your new API key.
